ANIMA EDUCATION PRESENTS:
"Catholicism"
An exploration of the Catholic Faith
using the new video series by Fr Robert Barron
Fr Robert Barron recently toured Australia to promote his new 10 part DVD series “Catholicism”.We will watch each program in the series and use it as the basis of further exploration of the Catholicfaith. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about our Church, and to bring friends who are
interested in finding out more about the Catholic faith. (Nb. The Term 3 course will cover the first
five sessions in the DVD series; the last five sessions will be presented in Term 4)
Topics covered in this course:
1. Amazed and Afraid: The Revelation of God become Man
2. Happy Are We: The teachings of Jesus
3. The Ineffable Mystery of God: That than which nothing greater can be thought
4. Our Tainted Nature's Solitary Boast: Mary, the Mother of God
5. The Indispensable Men: Peter, Paul, and the Missionary Adventure
10 hours of interactive lecture/discussion
(5 x 2 hour sessions)
When: 5 x Monday nights August 6 to September 3
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Where: Mary Glowrey House
