Students from more than 70 secondary Catholic schools from the Archdiocese of Melbourne are being appointed as World Youth Day (WYD) Ambassadors.
Somewhere in a factory in northern Italy, an Indigenous Australian image of the Holy Spirit is being fashioned onto the back of specially designed World Youth Day chasubles.

Days in the Dioceses Melbourne announces the official route of the World Youth Day Cross and Icon (JCI) accompanied by the WYD08 Message Stick to Melbourne on 25 April 2008. The Cross and Icon and the Message Stick will arrive at St Patrick’s Cathedral on Anzac Day when Melbournians will welcome these universal symbols of peace and hope for a 15 day tour across the Melbourne Archdiocese.
