Archbishop Bruno Forte delivers final address

INTERNATIONALLY renowned European theologian, member of the Papal International Theological Commission and Bishop of Chieti-Vasto, Italy, Archbishop Bruno Forte will deliver the final address of his Melbourne tour this evening, entitled "The New Evangelisation: A challenge and a promise,"  at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).

The public lecture will conclude with a ceremony to award Archbishop Forte with an honorary doctorate from ACU.

Last night, Archbishop Bruno Forte, spoke on the topic of "Grace and Beauty: Towards Ethics and Inter-religious Dialogue in a Globalized World," at Newman College.

Following an introduction by Director of the Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation, Br Mark O'Connor, Archbishop Forte addressed more than 50 academics, seminarians and lay people from around the Archdiocese of Melbourne.

Archbishop Forte's gave his address during a public conversation with Fr Tony Kelly, which was the first of the Helda Camara series presentations at Newman College for July/ August.
