Blessing of St Vincent's Private Hospital Kew
Wednesday 30 April, 2014
'Each day in our hospital new life begins and ill health and death surround us.
May we always be present to celebrate, heal and mourn with each family that entrusts their loved one to us.'
By Julie Wain, Mission Integration Manager, St Vincent's Private Hospital
ON 29 April St Vincent's Private Hospital Kew celebrated our completed renovations and major redevelopment with a formal blessing.
St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne acquired the Kew Hospital 6 years ago. We have diligently expanded the small surgical hospital into a Catholic healthcare facility providing first-class orthopaedic, ophthalmic and plastic surgery.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne Episcopal Vicar for Health and Aged Care Mgr Anthony Ireland blessed the staff, the Hospital and the clinical areas. This formal blessing refreshes our commitment to the unique privilege of providing compassionate healthcare in our catholic hospital.
