The proposed changes to legalise euthanasia and physician assisted suicide in Victoria will have wide reaching effects.
It is important that Members of Parliament hear from their local constituents on this important matter through letters, emails, personal visits and social media.
In Victoria, each person has one Member of Parliament (MP) who represents their local district (e.g. Essendon or Narre Warren South) in the Legislative Assembly. In addition, they have another five Members of Parliament who represent their wider region (e.g. Northern Victoria or Eastern Metropolitan Victoria) in the Legislative Council.
