“Prepare the way” ... “Stay awake!”
These are just some of the words that begin the Gospel of Mark and thus mark our entry into the new liturgical year and the Season of Advent. Join us for two Advent preparation sessions this October, aimed at helping liturgy teams bring the season to life in their local parish community.
Running over two weeks, participants in the first session will be guided through the Gospel of Mark by renowned Australian scholar Rev. Frank Moloney sdb. The following week will focus on the practicalities of the season: the Advent readings, music selection and preparing the liturgical environment. These sessions are ideal for liturgy teams and anyone wanting to explore the richness of this joyous season. Come to one session or come to both!
