Planning for 2018
As we enter the final stages of this liturgical year, we are aware that many parishes have already begun planning and thinking about their formation and offerings in 2018. To assist, we have prepared a '2018 calendar planning tool' for parishes to download and adapt (MS Word).
These templates have been prepared as a free, editable resource and are pre-designed and populated with the following:
- Liturgical calendar dates, such as liturgical seasons, memorials and major feast days
- National programs/events
- Victorian public holidays
- Date claimers for formation opportunities for parish leaders*, such as professional development days for Lay Ecclesial Ministers, formation for Parish Pastoral Councils, seminars for Liturgy/RCIA Teams, seminars/talks exploring a ‘living faith’ in the world (e.g. Sparks of Beauty program)
- Notes section for plotting key dates and notices

These dates are correct at the time of uploading and may be subject to change. We will continue to provide updates and information. We have provided the templates by month, to ensure that any changes are captured and updated (if you downloaded everything in one document, you may miss important updates later on!).
