Hospital Chaplaincy: How can we minister together?

Wednesday 9 May, 10am - 2.30pm
Catholic Leadership Centre
576 Victoria Pde, East Melbourne

There are a range of challenges that we need to be aware of for hospital ministry and this workshop will provide either a refresher for experienced hospital chaplains or formation for less experienced chaplains.

The session includes a presentation by Rev Mgr Anthony Ireland (Episcopal Vicar for Health, Aged and Disability Care) on the theology of hospitality in ministry, some practical tips for ministry by Very Rev Anthony Kerin (Episcopal Vicar for Life Marriage and Family), as well as input by Coordinators of Catholic Hospital Chaplaincy on the context in which this ministry is occurring. This workshop is ideal for Pastoral Associates who minister in hospitals as well as Hospital Chaplains (Lay, Priests and Volunteers).

This session is being offered by the Archbishop’s Office for Evangelisation, CatholicCare and Ministry to Priests.
