Pastoral Associates, Pastoral Workers and Lay Chaplains are invited to this retreat day focused on praying with the psalms. The Psalms offer us words when we cannot pray and nourishment when we are lost. They offer us comfort during the transitions in life. They are both our words to God and God’s word to us.
The retreat will be facilitated by Mary Reaburn nds. Mary lectures on Biblical Studies at Yarra Theological Union, teaching First Testament, with a special interest in Psalms, Daniel and Patristic Interpretation. She is a Sister of Our Lady of Sion and is interested in Jewish interpretation of the Bible, Inter-Faith Dialogue and the Biblical imperative for Justice.
This retreat is free but RSVP by Wednesday 9 May is essential. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
