As a person working in the Ministry of caring for others, how often do we self-care? Most of our energy is outward focused, attending to the needs of others. In our often hectic and demanding lives, we sometimes recognise the need and desire to stop, step into the stillness and be nourished. Through the use of music, scripture and creative expression, this retreat will be an opportunity to enter into this place.

NB: The day includes meditation so please BYO cushion and wear comfortable clothes.

This retreat is open to Lay Ecclesial Ministers and will be facilitated by Marea Richardson, a Registered Guided Imagery and Music Therapist (Music Psychotherapy) and Accredited Grief and Loss Counsellor (NALAG). Marea works within a Christian perspective supporting people towards greater emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing.

This retreat is free but RSVP is essential by 25 July. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Register now at
