Creating an inclusive parish community involves ensuring that the delivery of sacramental formation and the celebration of the liturgy are as accessible as possible for those with a disability.

This parish forum offers participants an overview and insights into the practical application of the Guidelines for the Celebration of the Sacraments with People with Disability (published by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference in collaboration with the Bishops Commission for Pastoral Life and the Australian Catholic Disability Council). Participants will also hear from a panel of speakers on how the parish can support those with a disability and their families.

Panel members include:
  • Denise Lacey, CatholicCare
  • Neal Murphy, St John of God Healthcare
  • Kerrie-Anne Porreca, Catholic Education Melbourne

COST: $20 (incl. light supper and resource pack)
