Cathedral overflows for the 2018 Rite of Election

The air of excitement was unmistakable yesterday at St Patrick's Cathedral, as over a thousand people gathered for the annual Rite of Election, where those seeking to receive the sacraments of initiation at Easter are presented and recognised by the Archbishop and the wider community.

Rite of Election 2018
Online registrations are now open for the 2018 Rite of Election. It will take place on the First Sunday of Lent (Sunday 18 February) at St Patrick's Cathedral. This year, registration will be done online using Trybooking, to enable a more efficient method of collating parish information.
