Liturgical Ministry Formation
Through formation for liturgical ministry, the AOFE will work towards fostering and developing the liturgical and prayer life of the faithful in the Archdiocese so that they can enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ.
Liturgy and formation are important priorities for the Archbishop's Office for Evangelisation. The Office seeks to provide guidance, service and support for those involved in liturgical ministry and the whole community of faith. Courses are suitable for:- Parishes and deaneries
- Liturgical Ministers
- Communities
- Schools
- Liturgical committees
Courses cover various aspects of formation for worship and liturgical ministry including music, lectors, special ministers of the eucharist, leading prayer, preparing and leading children’s liturgy of the word, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), preparing the liturgical environment, bereavement and funeral ministry.
