The Aboriginal Message Stick, arrived in the Diamond Valley Deanery in February 2006. The Message Sticks were commissioned by Cardinal Pell at St. Mary's Cathedral, Sydney and will travel to every diocese in Australia. The message stick relay is part of the process of reconcilliation leading up to the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Pope John Paul II's visit to Alice Springs in October 2006.
