46,868 students, parents and teachers from Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne stood up against poverty and in support of the
UN Millennium Development Goals.

This formed part of a world record
116.9 million people around the world who believe it's time to

Social Justice at Avila
At a broader community level, students have the opportunity to be involved in groups focusing on issues such as Reconciliation, Amnesty International, and the Environment as well as community services such as the Red Cross Door Knock Appeal.

 

HEART OF OUR COUNTRY

 

Students from Avila attend the Indigenous Spiritual celebration held at the St Patrick's Cathedral on Tuesday 29th August. The theme of the night was "Heart of Our Country" and was the culmination of the Message Stick Relay
