STAND UP DAY 2008

On 17th October 2008

46,868 students, parents and teachers
from Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne stood up against poverty and in support of the

UN Millennium Development Goals

This formed part of a world record 116.9 million people around the world who
believe it's time to

MAKE POVERTY HISTORY

that you do unto me

 

Recently MacKillop College, Werribee participated in Planet Ark National Tree Day. I

In total 300 trees were planted by Year Ten Religion and Ecology students.

Much was learnt on being socially just to all creation.

 

 


MacKillop College had residents from Werribee Terrace Aged Care come over for the Senior Boys footy against St Monica's Epping. All enjoyed a great day out in the sun, helping with the scoring, enjoying afternoon tea and being part of the MacKillop cheer squad!
