The tragedies of RU-486

On 11 August 2009, Marie Stopes International, one of the largest abortion providers in the world, was given permission by the Therapeutic Goods Administration to prescribe the abortion drug RU486 at its clinics throughout NSW, Victoria, WA and the ACT.

As a result, women who are less than nine weeks pregnant will beable to terminate their pregnancies and the life of their child usingRU-486.

Catholic Communications Melbourne recently spoke with Marcia Riordan, Executive Director of the Archdiocese's Life Marriage and Family Office on RU486.
