Life, Marriage & Family Sunday 2016

Every year, the Archdiocese of Melbourne celebrates Life, Marriage & Family Sunday in October. Focusing on respect for human life and the family, resources are produced to positively contribute to the conversations in our community.

This year, Life, Marriage & Family Sunday is celebrated with the theme – Walking with Families - Pope Francis & the Art of Accompaniment. Resources developed focus on Pope Francis’ recent exhortation on the family - Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love).  As well as a booklet, a series of six videos have been produced featuring married, consecrated and single people. Each share their insights and experience of the mission of the family, hospitality, prayer and accompaniment.
