Privacy Policy

Holy Spirit Parish is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act.

Why personal information is collected, how it may be used and where it may be disclosed:
  1. Holy Spirit Parish collects and maintains the personal information that you provide. The primary purpose of doing this is to inform you about the Parish and its activities, and assist the Parish in better servicing yourself, your fellow parishioners and the Parish community.
  2. Without the above information the Parish would be less able to keep you informed of its activities and less able to manage and plan its Parish based services.
  3. You may, on request of a Parish Council member, access the information collected about you. You may subsequently assist the Parish to make corrections should it be determined that the information held by the Parish is inaccurate.
  4. On your request of a Parish Council member, information collected about you will be deleted from the Parish register.
