St. Christopher’s Catholic Parish aims to be alive in Faith and Love, a welcoming community in which each member is co-responsible for ‘being Church’ to all in their daily lives.
Welcome to St. Christopher’s Parish Community, Syndal. For over fifty years, our parish has been in the care of the Pallottines, a world-wide religious congregation founded by St Vincent Pallotti in 1835.
We are a dynamic and friendly Catholic community of many ethnicities, united as one family under the charism of St. Vincent Pallotti, who called every person to share in the mission of Jesus as an apostle.
As the Parish Priest, together with Fr. Pat, we serve and are proud of the warmth, generosity and loving service of our parish in its outreach to the wider Monash community.
The Lord’s words [Lk 19:23] “Why did you not put my money in the bank” echoed in Vincent’s ears. For this reason he would ask himself: “Tell me, Vincent”, [Nov 25,1849], “how did you use God’s infinite Love in which He created you, in His own image and likeness?”
We were all much inspired by the talks given by Bruce Downes, THE CATHOLIC GUY. It was a time of reflection, prayer and community building.
What do we do?
IMPACT conducts Sunday services and events designed
to be a first step for people that are disconnected from traditional Church and
for Catholics who are looking to take their faith to a deeper level.
