Those with an interest in Carmelite spirituality are invited to a seminar entitled Key elements of Carmelite spirituality drawn from the Carmelite Rule of life. 2007 was the 800th anniversary of the approval of the Carmelite rule.

The leader of the seminar will be Professor Kees Waaijman O. Carm., Director of the Titus Brandsma Institute, Catholic University of Nijgemen. Kees whose speciality is the Psalms and Jewish Mysticism has published widely in the field of spirituality. The Carmelite rule or way of life was the springboard and inspiration for the lives and writings of such well known Carmelite saints as Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross.

Tea and coffee provided, BYO lunch. All are invited.
