Several different migrant communities will lead this 3km Way of the Cross from St Brigid's Church into the city to Birrarung Marr on the banks of the Yarra River.

This event will involve as many of the Catholic multicultural groups as possible. Each group will be asked to walk a leg of the procession while carrying the Cross and Icon. During the walk, the groups will be encouraged to sing and pray in their own cultural language. The Cross and Icon will be passed from one group to another and the procession will culminate at Birrarung Marr.
