 Sunday 5 October 2008World Youth Day pilgrims, volunteers and all interested people are invited to gather together to recapture the excitement, the joy and the faith of our experience of Days in the Diocese and World Youth Day. Archbishop Hart will lead us in the celebration of the Mass in Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, beginning at 3.30pm. The Mass will be followed by refreshments, over which people can reconnect and relive our experiences of Days in the Diocese and World Youth Day. Prior to the Mass people will be invited to gather in a number of locations in the inner city for a time of sharing, praise, music and testimony. We will all set out as pilgrims from these centres to converge on the Cathedral for our Eucharistic celebration. Further details will be available on the Archdiocese’s website (www.melbourne.catholic.org.au ) and on the Days in the Diocese website (www.did08.com) as the event draws closer. In Sydney the Holy Father invited us to open our lives to Christ and to his Spirit. Let’s do this together on October 5. |
