New Springtime is the bi-monthly online journal of the Australian Catholic Students Association (ACSA).
A special edition of the journal has just been launched to coincide with World Youth Day in Sydney. The feature article is written by His Eminence Cardinal George Pell titled "World Youth Day and Catholic University Students". It focuses on the impact that World Youth Day will have on Catholic ministry in universities and on students' lives.
Other notable contributions include Chris Meney (Director of the Marriage and Family Office of the Sydney Archdiocese) on the 'cohabitation effect' and Anna Krohn on the 'feminine genius' as expounded by John Paul II and Edith Stein.
We also have articles by Fr Ian Ker, a leading scholar on Cardinal John Henry Newman and lecturer at Oxford University, and Sr Mary Catharine, a cloistered Dominican nun from the United States, plus student contributions on a range of topics: World Youth Day, the UQ Newman Society incident in May, Fra Angelico and the human knowlegde of Christ.
The WYD edition is now available to view online at www.newspringtime.org.au .
