*This is an ecumenical event hosted by Melbourne City Mission *
The Melbourne City Mission Youth Action Group (YAG) invite you to attend their upcoming POWER TO YOUth Forum! This event is open to anyone of all ages, but the conversations that take place at the table are specifically designed for young people! However, we want to encourage adults to come and be keynote listeners!
Please send this through to all the young people you know!
At POWER TO YOUth, you’re the expert. You’re a young person who lives, works, studies or socialises in Melbourne, right? Well, there you have it. This is a night for young people to explore how Melbourne can become more youthful and inclusive.
Do YOU have an idea or vision for Melbourne? We want to hear it.
Melbourne City Mission’s Youth Action Group is hosting this interactive event, bringing together young people and decision makers in Melbourne to create youth-driven solutions for a more diverse, empowered and youthful Melbourne.
From all the data we collect, we are going to develop a resource that will be sent to organisations all across Melbourne, encouraging them to hear the views of young people and using this data when it comes to making decisions in their roles.
The topics of discussion will be: mental health, employment, youth homelessness, LGBTIQ+ community, gender, accessibility and diverse culture, language and religions.
