For more than 15 years now, young men and women have gathered every week for an hour of prayer and adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Six30 Holy Hour is a chance to pray and to meet other young people from around Melbourne while listening to beautiful music and great homilies. There is also the opportunity to recieve the powerful sacrament of Confession.
When:  Thursday nights from 6.30pm−7.30pm
Where: St Patrick’s Cathedral in East Melbourne.
(Entry is via the carpark on Lansdowne Street. Follow the red line on the map below)
In case you were wondering - What is Adoration?
Through the miracle that happens in every Mass, Catholics believe that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. So when we place the Blessed Sacrament in a monstrance on the altar, we can bring to Jesus all of our needs and hopes. We can thank Him for all the good things in our lives, and ask for His help and comfort for all the bad things. Most importantly, we believe that Jesus loves us and He just wants us to be close to Him.
