Melbourne Catholic Archbishop's Charitable Fund

Over many years, the Catholic Community has generously supported the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne with many appeals. Your generosity has financially supported much needed care of the homeless, aged care services, migrant and refugees support, mental health services, and many other ministry programs conducted by the Diocese or parishes. Many of our ministry works would not be possible without the continual financial support of generous givers. We thank you for your past gifts and donations, and pray that God will bestow many blessings upon you.

The Diocese currently operates various funds into which donations and bequest proceeds are received. The Archbishop’s Charitable Fund, which has been operating for over 30 years, has supported many church programs and ministry works. Other funds operated by the Diocese and equally important are the Education of Priests and Seminarians fund, St Patrick’s Cathedral Maintenance & Restoration fund, and the Cathedral Music fund. Donations and Bequests can also be made for special appeals and building projects to your local parish. Not all of the Diocese funds are able to provide tax receipts for donations, so enquire at the time of making your donation. More specific details about each of the funds can be provided by the Development Office upon request. All donations and bequests are acknowledged by the Diocese, and the generosity of all donors are remembered by the Archbishop in his regular thanksgiving Mass.

If you would like further details about any of the following matters we will be happy to assist you.

  • making a bequest,
  • how to include the Diocese in your Will,
  • making a one off gift or donation

Please contact the Development Office on 9926 5731, or complete the following information form and your details will be electronically forwarded to the Development Office. We will ensure that you receive an immediate follow up phone call from our office.
