Family, Food, Faith

Every year, the Archdiocese of Melbourne celebrates Life, Marriage & Family Sunday in October. Focusing on respect for human life and the family, resources are produced to positively contribute to the conversations in our community.

This year, Life, Marriage & Family Sunday focuses on the importance and benefits of family meals. Resources developed focus on the spiritual significance of family meals as well as the very practical physical, social and emotional benefits of eating together. Along with a booklet, a series of four videos have been produced featuring chef and priest Fr Leo Patalinghug, whose world-wide movement Grace Before Meals aims to bring families back to the dinner table and be nourished body, mind and soul.
