LEAD 2018: Building a Culture of Leadership

LEAD Workshop Day (formerly Blueprint) will be held on Saturday 21 July 9.45am - 3.30pm. It equips those working or volunteering in youth ministry with skills to effectively evangelise young people. The day includes a keynote presentation, workshops options for entry level and experienced youth ministers, networking opportunities and a delicious morning tea and lunch! All youth ministry leaders are welcome to attend however prior
registration is essential and closes on 12 July. Cost is $10 and includes a resource valued at $25.
Keynote presentation by Fr Christian Fini, OMI: “Creating a culture of leadership; inspiring, challenging and developing leaders” 
Workshops include:
1. Watch out!!! Burnout is on the horizon: The importance of Self Care in youth ministry (Dr Marcel Koper)
2. “You’re not friends till you’re Facebook friends”: Helping young people safely navigate social media (Rhyannon Elliot) 
3. Project and event planning for Youth Ministry (Jess Mills)  
4. Understanding current Child Safety standards in a youth ministry context (Katherine Levi)
5. How to use “Alpha” and other youth ministry programs in your youth ministry (Jacqui Guilliano)
6. Structures for sustainability: 

Creating a framework for eternal youth ministry (Fr Christian Fini, OMI)
